Academic and Career Development
Born in 1980 in Da Nang, Vietnam, Dr. Pham Truong Son was awarded a full government scholarship to study in Hungary at the age of 18. He pursued a degree in pharmaceutical chemistry at the Budapest University of Economics and Technology and later successfully defended his doctoral dissertation in the same field.
After completing his PhD, he became a research fellow at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, where he led a research team collaborating with institutions and universities both within and outside Hungary.
Notable Achievements
Throughout his research career, Dr. Pham Truong Son has attained significant milestones:
- 2007: The only foreign participant in Hungary’s national scientific research competition, winning the Special Prize.
- 2008: His PhD research won First Prize at the International Friendship Conference on Organic Chemistry in Romania, with the topic “Extraction of Optical Isomers of Alpha Amino Phosphonic.”
- 2010: Became the first Vietnamese research fellow at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
- 2016: Successfully collaborated with experienced professors and researchers in Hungary to develop a herbal product that promotes stem cell proliferation and supports cancer treatment.
